Bio


His main research interests are soil conservation, soil contamination and remediation processes, land use change, the impact of urbanization on soil resources, and the safe use of waste within the circular economy. He has participated in 15 international projects, including the 5th, 6th, 7th Framework Program, Horizon 2020, Central Europe program. He has experience in coordinating work packages in international projects. Coordinator of national soil quality monitoring from 2010 to 2017. National representative for soils in EIONET network, Common Forum on Contaminated Land and Global Soil Partnership.

Manager of an NCN project on the effects of the spread of rare earth elements in the environment and the possibility of their recovery. Recipient of an MARD award for implementation work on designation of areas for support from EU funds, and 4 awards from the Director of IUNG-PIB for scientific research.
